Duck Injured

Any ideas? She and her mate along with a chicken were attacked last weekend no external wounds but still will not extend her neck.

I would do another very careful, slow and thorough inspection all over her body. Maybe there is a tiny wound somewhere that has gotten infected.....

If you truly can find no wound...

well.... I dunno....

Usually healing is pretty quick, so after a week bruising should be down enough that there is clear improvement...

Has there been any inprovement?

No improvement tonight I notice her head was turning more to one side almost pointing backwards. Seemed like she was unbalanced. I'm questioning Wry neck? Thought it wouldn't hurt to give things high in vatimin E

Vitamin A, E and Selenium I think...

but the A and E are most important. Bs would be good too.

I just take a human capsule and use that. ..

Yep, a human vitamin. I have gel capsules for A and E, so those I cut open and pour out...my Bs are a pill, so crush.

I would feed the injured duck by herself... to make sure that she is eating enough.
