We had only two ducks. One Pekin drake named Bill and one mix female named Duck Wing. They were the only two ducks in that pen for a long time so they bonded a lot. Later we got 6 pekin females for our pekin drake. Over time our drake has spent more and more time with the other pekins and not with Duck Wing. Duck Wing walks around the pen really slowly all by herself. She will fly into the chicken pen and nibble at their food but the chickens don't like her. Just a couple days ago she started fighting with the drake. She is the one who starts the fight every time. Is she jealous that Bill is spending time with the other pekins and not her? She is black and white and a lot smaller so she is different from all the other ducks. Will she get over it? Will Bill start spending time with her again?

Are bill and duck wing able to mate? If so, incubate the eggs and then duckwing will have her own people. If not, that explains why bill has no interest. Id suggest getting her a similarly type drake that can mate with her.
Good luck!

Duck Wing is to small and I heard that since she is a mix her eggs won't hatch.
