Thanks guys and yeah I know the big guys love peas, but cruise is pushy when it comes to them and barely lets louis get any. I'm pretty sure I heard Louis making raspy noises earlyer. Does that mean he's actually a boy? And cute ducks sheila!
I just brought home 2 Mallard ducklings that are probably a week old. My 3 week old ducklings, 4 week old duckling, and 4 week old gosling were at first very scared of them. The baby Mallards just wanted to cuddle with the others, but they would have nothing to do with them. It was sad to see the Mallards keep chasing the others around, trying to snuggle up against them. Finally, the others started to turn against them. I now have to keep them in separate brooders, unless I'm also in the room.
Earlyer this afternoon I heard alot of pipping coming from the room so I went to see what was wrong and the new baby had somehow jumped out of it's little brooder and came running to me when I walked in. Anyway I got an even bigger tub and put louis and cruise in it because they were starting to look devioulsy over the top of their brood. The new baby is now in their old tub with a ducky stuffed animal to keep it company. My 3 other babies should be coming in from Metzer next week and hopefully this baby will get along with them
