Duck Kiddie Pools with Private Sun Decks

No problem. Give me a little bit and I will put up a lumber cut list with all the dimensions. That way everyone can make it. I will have measurements for the medium and large pools. Hopefully I have it all done by this evening.

What a gorgeous little set up you have there. We have water use restictions here so the pools I use here are smaller. - I often take my ducks up to my block of land in the Country where I have a huge rainwater tank that is barely used.
I was planning on making them a nice pond area yup there- and am now thinking maybe a little sun deck would be a great weekend job for me to do up there too.

Did you show this to my ducks? I think you did because Donna hasn't come out of the pool yet, not even to eat, she says she wants a deck or she'll stay in the water on a hunger strike. No, but really... I took your idea and used some old boards I had laying around, some cement blocks, and made my ducks a ramp of sorts. Not nearly as cool as your deck but now Donna, my Cayuga, wont get out. It seems the three boys haven't figured it out, because they still run around the sides, around the steps, and then back up and charge in as they used to.

I need to make them one of these, I bet even the darkest crayons in the box could figure that out.

I love it!! When I finally put my larger pool in, (it's been sitting here for a year!), I am going to do this. I have lots of scrap wood around, and you have motivated me to try this.....seeing it helps a lot, thanks for posting pics!

Here are the drawings for the large kiddie pool with deck and stairs. Please note it only shows one stair case, you should build a second one for the other side. I've also written the wrong screw size down. You need 2.5 or 2.75" deck screws.
