Duck "laughing" quack...meaning?

looks and sounds much like the "come hither" quack my female pekin is doing.....just wait till the guys respond with a up and down head bob.....like they are saying "I'd love to oblige you, maam" then they do....they especially love fresh cleaned cool water in the pools....and no, they aren't particular in who they flirt with but mine does have a preferance in which male she allows to climb on....then he jumps off and runs victory laps around the pool!! It can get quite tiresome for her....hopefully you have many more females than males!

Wow...I never knew...our call duck hen will make the flirty noise and usually be greeted by our grumpy Muscovy with a nasty bite, not our little stud drake.

I used to think of it as the call laughing too loudly and the grumpy old neighbor lady-duck saying, "SHUT UP!!"

Looks like Lucy didn't like Scoots setting her sights on her man.

My Runner is getting VERY close to laying...If the runner makes that laughing quack when i am around my white campbell nudges her then runs to me making the same noise while bobbing her head sideways.
Very amusing to watch.
Thankfully I don't have any drakes.

I've noticed, at the same time females start flirting, I hear the males making more whistling sounds and head-bobbing between them. Very funny.
