My three ducks were born in July, so they've passed the six month mark. At this point every time I go outside my two girls duck their heads at my drake and now he has started making this deep raspy growl noise when I first go to reach for one of the girls. I assume he is just being protective, but I was wondering knowing all of this, when do you think I will see some eggs.

Sorry forgot to say they are pekins.
My pekin drake always ducks his head to the ground when I let them out of there coop. I guess they are just saying hi.
