Duck leg injury!

Do you have any literature on this?
The NWRA (It’s for wildlife but animals are animals) handbook actually has some really great handouts, especially for bandaging and emaciation. Any veterinary books you can get your hands on, sometimes vet offices will be done with old books because they’ve discovered different dosages or techniques, but I find that slightly older ones can have some great practical knowledge when it comes to injuries that really doesn’t change that much. Honestly, I get a lot of my information from the wildlife community because you don’t always have access to a vet, and sometimes vets aren’t even trained with poultry, but wildlife people are used to working with birds . Oh, human nursing books can also have some great info, not as much about medications but procedures (not surgery procedures, but like hand washing or sterilizing or shock procedures) for instance keeping a patient warm when it’s in shock, or Silva gel for burns, or even the proper layering of bandages.
