Duck life...please help

Yes I'm feeding her layer pellets and grit plus I have looked in every hiding spot. However every night I have to chase her to go inside will that stress her too much to stop laying? And what makes a nesting place appealing to her?

I wouldn’t think that would bother her that much. You have to keep her safe. My ducks love deep bedding they will either just lay their eggs on top or my Muscovy will find a quiet place inside the coop and lay. I have a few neat boxes on the floor I am trying and my Runners have been using them I’ll get you some pics when I go out to clean. Mine like to lay where others have laid to even my chickens.

Ok thanks. And what time should I let them out should I wait until she has had a chance to lay? (She is a runner)

I have been letting mine out close to 7:45 am now so most have laid. My Muscovy will run from her coop over to the one right across the walk to lay. Don’t ask me why! They can be nutty.

This is where she sleeps (it's her and her Drake) is it big enough and does it need more bedding for her to lay an egg there. Plus I tried the golf ball trick.
