hello all, I feel like I read or heard somewhere awhile back about how someone doesn't let their ducks inside the house (where it's really warm), because they didn't wanna hurt their lungs when they go back out in the cold? I don't think I can find anything about it tho. So I'm just wondering if this is a thing.
This is my duck friends' first Winter (and the first time I've had duck friends).. they free range & have their own little coop but every now and then, they like to come inside & chill.. maybe have a sleep over. But I really do not want to hurt them in any way by this. It's been bone-chilling cold recently, in the teens and they seem to hang around on the porch, right around the door more often when it's like this. They seem like they can manage, but still wanna come inside. So, I'm just looking for a little input. I don't wanna take them away from Nature either!
