Duck Mating Behavior? What to expect next?

I'm sure he would appreciate a few more ladies but I've also had fine luck with just a male/female pair. If its the right drake anyway. Once he figures out how to "get the job done" (not sideways ), gets a bit older and calms down he might be a perfect gentleman with just one lady.

Feathers missing but down to skin means she needs a break especially is she is trying to get away. If there aren’t any more feathers next will be skin.

Okay, I will keep an eye out! Thank you. If I want to hatch maybe a few eggs, should I get an incubator?

If she's yoing, she might just decide to sit. The magic number for my ducks was always around 10 eggs in the nest. Let the gather and just see what happens. Hopefully, ducklings

Since your female is a Pekin and they aren’t known to be broody might be a good idea.

I’d get some more girls for him or your duck is gonna get beat up, maybe even the chickens too. Drakes are very crazy with breeding, he might even try to breed with the chickens which could kill them.

He is smaller than she is, IDK, but she could be able to handle him. I have only had Pekins before in the '80s, (Yes I'm Old) they can go broody.

Oh shoot.... okay well I can definitely do that. Where would I get more ducks at this time. I got my ducklings from TSC at the begging on spring
