Duck not laying eggs

I have a 15 month old Pekin that adopted over the winter to replace my other that passed. She has only laid one egg since I've had her and it was broken when I found it. She seems to be happy and eats very well. I have an appointment with the vet in 4 days to get her looked at but I was wondering if anyone knows why she isn't laying. The previous owner said she laid 2 to 3 a week last year and my old one laid one a day.

What feed is she on?

How much daylight are you guys getting?

Is the previous owner positive on the age?

She is on a layer feed with some regular duck and goose feed mixed in. She is out for the majority of the daylight hours and yes, the owner knew the exact hatch date. The vet said that she is having reproductive problems where the egg does not go through the ovaries properly and now she is swollen. She is on clavamox and another pill to bring down the swelling. Also giving her extra calcium in her drinking water. If that doesn't work they will try to drain her. But a good chance the problem will come back. Last choice will be to remove the ovaries to sterilize her. But there is always the chance that she won't make it through the surgery. I hope it doesn't come to that. She is a pet and I don't want to lose her.
