Duck or drake? muscovy

We rescued this duck from the side of the road. Poor thing was a mess ripped webs torn feathers. It has healed nicely and has taken a likeing to our mixed flock. Now that it is doing better I am curious as to weather it is a duck or a drake?

I have 2 appleyard girls but he is keeping to himself still and they are kind of prissy twords him. We have 3 straight run muscovy ducklings but they are only 3 weeks old. No one around here has any female muscovys they are selling. We couldnt leave him he was in such rough shape and was very welcome to me coming up to him. He is really a sweet duck.

I think Muscovy drakes are so sweet I am glad you have other ducks they will all warm up to each other but Muscovy do speak a different language so having Muscovy ducklings is nice for him.once they get large enough to meet him.

he seems to be accepting of the ducklings. He has been showing them around and keeping the others from picking on them.
