Does anybody know why a Peking duck would be breathing though it's mouth like it is panting? Is there something wrong or a natural thing for them?

Where is it in a duck house or brooder? if brooder temps maybe to high what temps are you having outside inside?

At the moment he is inside. We also have an Indian runner who is fine. They are both going on 3 months old. They get plenty of water during the day to rinse their nostrils out. We have a kiddie pool in their coop that they spend half the day. He seems happy. It is in the upper 70's currently.

I have seen other post about their Pekins doing this, as long as you have them with ways to stay cool and hydrated maybe it's just the heat. Pekins -heavy, Runners -light might be the difference.

After reading some post I kind of came to the same conclusion. But thank you for the help.
