It’s dominance. I think what @Isaac 0 recommended to somebody else is to hold down the duckies head when they do that and hold until they stop squirming to re-establish your dominance, unless you don’t mind having Lil duckie overlords. @Isaac 0 can you confirm this info?

I've have/ and had lots of drakes, but never have I had one try to attack me. I establish my dominance early only by simply not treating the drakes like little babies, they walk around me, not vice/versa. If one were try to attack I'd either pin them down as you suggested, or give them a good nudge with a broom or stick.

a bit more agressive, an I am still waiting for the drake feather... Today, she/he came over OUTSIDE as I was talking to the other ones, definetely on guard and with a mean look

Do you have long sleeves on when it happens? Ducks don't have hands they use their bill to get a feel for things so it could very well be dominance, but I've also had ducks do it out of curiosity. Whenever I have long sleeves on some of my ducks will pick at what I thought was my arms and then look at me like "What in the world is this?". At first I thought a couple were being dominant, but then I only noticed it happened when I had long sleeves on.

yes. I had that too, especially with one coat that has bright buttons, they really ARE curious. But the "picking at me" is different, it has an aggressive feel to it. It doesnt hurt though.... (yet)

My ducks do that on occasion. Sometimes when I try to feed them from my hand, one will look like she wants to eat it, but it's almost like she can't stop herself from lunging up the arm instead. Like maybe they get excited by the food and they have this automatic reaction they can't control. Like when a cat sees a bird through the window and does the cackling- that's their adrenaline flowing and causing an automatic response they can't control.

He does it by been mean. He even tries to fly up to bite me. He does it mostly if I touch the girls. He doesn’t mind if I pet him as long as I don’t touch the ducks.

I used to think they were giving me a hug or even a high five until I finally posted about it. Boy! Was I wrong!
