Duck pool option?

Another question about the pool. Do you think nightly emptying through the hose will work? Or do you think I should create a bigger drain for the poop and muck. Thanks!

It should be ok. It comes with an adapter to hook it up. I just drain mine into the grass.
I empty mine every other day but really only because it's been so warm here that algae grows fast. Surprisingly, mine don't poop in it that often. It's mostly leaves and a ton of feathers. If you have an algae issue then First Saturday Lime keeps it down and it's good for your coop 5189EFB1-2C7D-4DC0-B154-1C209564AE7F.jpeg

I have seen that but didn't think to add it to the pool. I'm in So Cal so it gets hot too. I am getting an umbrella to shade it but I read that heat plus sun equals algae. I have a young daughter with a disability who is obsessed with water so I plan on draining nightly, and keeping the pool fenced away from her. :D

I just moved from so cal so I know what you mean. A pool turns just as green here as there. You're right about the sun so maybe the umbrella will help. If you look on the back of the lime bag it tells how much to add.
