Has he been eating grass?...Possibly some of that little tree in the photo?
I don't think you have anything to worry about..If he is eating and drinking. He is fine.

He is very cute. I'd check the name of that lil bush/tree in his pen to make sure it's safe for poultry. Doesn't hurt to check these things.

It's a cedar tree I believe..Won't hurt the Duck if he nibbles on it at all..

At least hostas weren't on the list. . my ducks eat a lot off of my hosta plants last summer.
I have a lot of canna lilies and day lilies but I never noticed them trying to eat those.

Thank goodness I always heard azaleas are poisonous but I see mine nibbling on them and so far haven't lost a one. I have hydrangea's too I had to fence one in because they were taking all the leaves off.
