Blossom 1.5 year old Silver Appleyard hen
she prolapsed a couple weeks ago and I used Epson salt bath and then witch hazel and then KY jelly got it to stay back in for a couple of weeks now she’s been fine.
today she re-prolapsed and it has this white on it. Is it possibly an infection or could it be yeast? I have her inside in a crate clean towel. I used witch hazel again and then I use some antibacterial ointment, but I haven’t tried to push it back in yet.

i just now cleaned her off then used raw honey on it, and gently pushed it back in. and i ordered more bannix to be delivered tomorrow ( i was out )

blossom has been holding together really well until today. I’ve been giving her calcium gluconate every morning and she’s laying her egg daily and living outside with everyone until this morning it popped out again -thank God I caught her before the chickens did- i saw them chasing her- anyway I took a picture of her poop and think it might be antibiotic worthy perhaps there is a reproductive system infection?? maybe that’s why she prolapses?? Anyway, I brought her inside and cleaned the prolapse with a rinse of colloidal silver and then coated it with manuka honey and pushed it back in . btw it looked healthy! no more white on it.
didn’t want to but now i think i have to make her stop laying, I’m going to put her in a crate in the dark from 4 PM until 8 AM every day now until she stops laying so my 2 questions are:

is that the right amount of hours??

and I think perhaps amoxicillin might help clear up any infection?? It seems to have helped my other duck cookie.
