My ducks are due to hatch tomorrow and Monday. Around day 10 the incubator they were in died, and they got pretty cool. The temp was 82 when I realized it, and I lost 5 or 6 pekins and one goose.
I have 1 pekin and 12 cayugas eggs in there, and none have pipped the shell yet. It looks like most of them have pipped the membranes though.
My question is, with the last ducks I hatched, they had their shells pipped a full day at least before they hatched. Will these guys need help, or should they be ok, even though they are most likely late?
