Duck question

Hello! I have a question about my ducks swimming in our pond. We have a pond but I have never let my ducks swim in it because we have seen snapping turtles in it.
They usually come up to lay their eggs but we haven't seen any maybe in the past two years and we haven't seen them down in the pond or near it.
(We have killed the ones we have seen.) So would it be safe for my ducks to swim in my pond and if their are snapping turtles that we can't see will they hurt my ducks?

If they are there, they may very well injure/kill your ducks depending upon the size of the ducks and turtles.

i think you should just keep them in the pool area, my friend lost 3 ducks to a turtle and the other one lost 2 of its toes

Full grown ducks are rarely attacked by snappers. We did have one attack a duckling one time but we got to it in time. Duckling had a bare butt for a bit but the turtle tasted good.

My ducks are around 13 weeks so are they old enough to swim without getting hurt?
