Melanie moved off of the nest to stretch her legs and let Nutters see the seven blue eggs.

"I can't wait for them to hatch!" Nutters said happily and very excited.

"They are hatching!!!" Melanie said, looking back at the cluster of eggs.

Lavenders wasn't hatching but when she heard Melanie's were she was annoyed that her babies didn't hatch yet. "OH MY GOSH!!! THEY ARE HATCHING!!!!" Nutters was so excited to be a father

A little duckling ate his way through the shell. Melanie quacked and helped him out.

Nutter had a small tear in his eye from happiness. Then Lavenders was hatching! "Honey! Honey! My eggs are hatching!" Lavender shouted, Nutters didn't know who to go to.

Melanie smiled and another one of her ducklings hatched.

One of Lavenders popped out of the egg, having Lavenders color, another one came out dark brown, another white, one black, another one black, one white with brown specks, and the last one was cream colored with it's head brown. Ally was watching them hatch, it was a wonderful site. "They all hatched." Lavender said, cuddling with them.

"They are adorable!" Nutters said as one hopped up on his bill to lay down. "If you don't mind I am going to see Lavenders ducklings now, this is too wonderful!" Nutters quacked with glee
