I have a duck named Ruby too. I am hoping my Ruby is a girl but probably not. I love drakes it's just I already have four and won't part with them. I'll keep the name Ruby though... I think it suits a boy as well!
Ruby is a Muscovy.

Oh so cute, sorry about her sister. My daughter named ours before we discovered he was a boy. Our cockerel is called Sophie as well

That is too funny and special!! Do they live inside? Ruby is out with the flock by day and comes inside at night. She is our only ducky who really enjoys being with us. She loves me back

Ruby used to live inside at night too until we got another duck and now he lives outside, but they all come in if I open the door.

I have to get them in later for a bath so they don't make the children dirty, Sophie is a Pekin bantam so has feathery feet so they are all muddy.
