I have four 6 week old khaki campbells. A few of them have just recently started "quacking".....a lot!! I have one out of the group that makes a definite "honk" sound. I have read a lot on voice sexing, is the honk the sound of a male or just a silly female?? Their coloring suggests that they are all female....or atleast I am hoping :)

Thanks for any feedback

The loud honk is a girl. Males make more of a raspy noise. Kinda sounds like they have a sore throat. Not sure about coloring as I only have female khakis right now.

Yes sounds like you have girls, boys get the "kiss curl" tail feather when they are older too.

DL nailed it. At six weeks your boy will sound raspy. Mine are 9 weeks now and the girls you can hear from 1/4 mile away. The boy hardly makes any noise.
