duck treats...??

I have a pair of Calls, Common Shelducks, and Mandarins and I want to give them treats so they
calm down when i walk up to them, but I dont know what they would like.
Got any ideas???
and when will my male grey call duck get his (mallard) color? He's about 4 months old i think.

I have had my ducks for 1 day... so I'm no expert. But I've been treating them with frozen peas in water. I hand feed them the peas and they love them and then leave a few in the water for them to 'fish' out... too cute! They alreadyget so happy when I walk into the brooder and check out my hands!

My muscovies love romaine lettuce!

Mine love peas too. They also love clovers and dandelion greens. Or anything moving!

I tried the romaine tonight; they seemed to enjoy tossing it around but didn't eat that much. Now my chickens on the other hand, they devour the romaine!

My ducky just LOVES corn kernels (tinned ones are handy). YUM YUM!

YEAH! the calls like peas! like LOVE them! now i just need to find out what mandarins, Shelducks, and Egyptian geese like....???

my muscovy's LOVE chopped up hard boiled egg! lol

Try celery! Cut up in to bite sized pieces....mine go ga-ga over them

(especially when I throw them in the pool so they can fish them out

)
