Apple cider vinegar is said to be a good tonic (improves health) for ducks and poultry. And many people drink a little acv in water, too. I like the flavor if it is not too strong. Vinegar can kill some germs, too, I am told.

Make sure its unpasturized apple cider vinegar, regular vinegar doesn't really do anything but burn in open wounds!
