Duck water & veggies

I use my duck water to water plants - flowers and veggies. In fact, my roses have looked the best ever and the only difference is using duck water. For all plants, you would water the soil and not the plant itself. I always rinse my produce before I eat it. No issues. But, my veggies aren't ready yet, I can come back and post if we get sick this year. ;)

My kids grew up playing in the dirt and being outside. Do kids still do that?
Some do, but as time passes less and less. I've been a nanny for 20 years now and the people who hire me in theory want me to take their kids outside. For 15 minutes on Mondays covered in sunblock, take a bath afterwards and use hand sanitizer.

Most parents who hire me are afraid of sandboxes. They often want me to wipe down playground equipment before children are allowed to touch it, even before the pandemic. All fruits and veggies must be "sterilized," before consumption. The parents are scared of pollen and don't want me to let the kids play with flowers in case the kids develop allergies. What?!?

They aren't concerned with excessive overscheduling or the fact that their kids don't know how to play with anything that doesn't make noise or flash. The kids have so much anxiety, it is heartbreaking. And the kids are constantly getting sick. Obviously I don't have a dirt playing control group, but, I'm sold.

Mine do! I have 3 and 4 year old boys and we specifically moved to the country, bought a farm in a small town and go outside every day for hours all so our kids can grow up being kids. I'm honestly not sure who loves mud more my boys or my ducks😂
