Duck waterers and feeders?

I started this system after the ducks were adult. I understand the concern with ducks eating them, since some ducks eat all kinds of things bad for them

Mine show no interest in eating sawdust pellets, thank goodness. I suppose you could cover them with an old towel.....
When I had guinea pigs, I used the horse stall pellets for bedding. It was great. But, I thought the ducks or chickens might eat them if I used them in their set up. My drake picked up a tiny chunk of wood that was in the rocks just the other day- swirled it in his mouth, dropped it, and picked it up again before I could see what he had. When I looked it was a small piece of wood from where we had sawed to make the chicken coop. Maybe they would test it first and see that it has no taste?

Mine do not eat them, and many folks use them with ducks. There are some stories of ducks eating weird things, though.

Generally what I do with new things, like bedding, is put some down when I have time to closely watch what the ducks do with it. That is how I found the ducklings were trying to eat wood shavings. Now that they are grown, they do not try to eat everything.
