My newly purchased Muscovy duck is really limping and I don't know what from. I thought he may have gotten alittle beat up by the new foal but it doesn't seem to be getting better we didn't notice it for the first couple days of having him but now it's been a month and it's still there. He lays down a lot because of it and we have checked it multiple times but nothing can be seen. No swelling or cuts all the bones seem intact. We don't know, any ideas?

How old? Has this duck been outside foraging on bugs n grasses? What type of feed is duck eating?
He's about 4 or 5 months old. Yes he's been outside with the rest of the flock. And ground corn with a laying mash we were told was good for the girls and would give him extra nutrients

Bumblefoot is a common staph infection that is a bump on foot that will get a dark scab. Treatable but does need to be taken care of asap, if that's what he has. Sooner it's caught easier it is to treat. They usually get it from a little scrape or poketo bottom of the foot. There are many threads here to help diagnose and treat bumblefoot.
