Duck with missing scales

I have a mallard duck, that ever since she was young she had missing scales on her legs and feet. Her brother also had the condition but has improved. I’ll see if I can get a picture in the morning. But it’s like where a different colour would come through on the legs, like with my hybrids.

Any help regarding her condition would be appreciated.

If the scales are lifting up it could be scaly leg mites, but that is pretty rare with ducks. So we will just have to wait for pictures...

I've never seen that before, but then again I don't look at ducks leg very often. If she appears to be in good health, I would not be concerned.
