Duck with stuck out wings

Thanks everyone- I’m sorry for my cruddy photos- my ducks are camera shy and I also don’t have a great camera!
After reasearching it, it is definitely angel wing
After observing them quite a bit yesterday , I believe another of my 15 has it, just to a lesser degree
I’ve been feeding them Purina flock raiser, mixed with just a little scratch grains. My bigger concern right now is over the last day or two they’ve slowed down eating a lot, like they used to scarf down everything and now sometimes there is food left from the previous day

What are the temps where you are ? During real cold days most waterfowl and poultry in general don’t move around a lot they are conserving energy and staying warm so they won’t eat as much as in days when they are real active. I’d try wrapping those wings though to try and fix the angel wing it’s defiently cosmetic but if it gets bad they can catch their wings on fencing etc and injure them so I’d try and correct since they are still young.

I suppose it’s been “ cool” for Florida anyway! Highs are 60-70 instead of 80-90 lol
We have had some cool nights, even getting down in the high 30s!
Get out the parkas! ( I laugh because I used to live in upstate NY and 60 would be time to get out the shorts and celebrate the coming of summer , where as here it is “cold”) but the ducks may be used to warmer temps

That does sound like springtime weather. I am not sure the weather could be affecting them then could be they have just hit a age where they aren’t needing as much feed they aren’t growing to beat the band like they were so as long as they are not acting like something else is going on they are most likely fine.

My ducks just went through this not eating stage. It was not very cold here but they just did not eat. Now they are back to eating like there is not tomorrow. I would maybe give them some treats and see if they will eat that!

Well as one video suggested we tried taping them, the duck ( and his friends ) immediately figured out how to get these off ! The guy in the video did say they sequestered the bird “ in a hospital cage” where I imagine the bird couldn’t move as much and get them off- trying to figure this out
Most of the wrapping methods include using a chicken harness to keep it in place, for one on order, but wanted to try something today
On the upside I learned this is a really sweet duck and once it calmed down it cooperated beautifully

Thanks for everything- looked over videos- going to keep trying
This duck’s name is Toothless ( kids thought it had similar coloring to the dragon in the How to Train your Dragon)
