For about 24 hrs our 1 yr old cayuga duck has been limping around, puffed up and wont quack or eat. Seems like her back end muscles keep throbbing, i see her tail bob a bit. She wont do anything but sit and occasionally drink a bit.
this all came on after the drake mounted her and afterwards a very small, egg popped out. weird. I posted about it elsewhere in the forum but still not sure what is going on.
Could she be egg bound, what do i do? im starting to worry

This is almost precisely my current situation! I realize that this post was made quite a while ago... But, what happened? Did she recover? The only differences between your circumstances and my own are, my ducks are Muscovy, she did not lay any egg, and she was already partially disabled when she was mounted by our Drake, who is already huge, despite being only four months old. When I say disabled, I mean that she has a very crooked spine, from day one. It does not slow her down any, but she walks quite hunched over, with her head to the side. If I had realized that our Drake was already sexually active, I would have kept them apart. Four months, and barely four months at that, seems awfully precocious to me.
Anyway, my duck just wants to sleep all the time, since the event. When I found her, she had blood drops on her feet, but I have searched her, and cannot locate a source. As I type this, it occurs to me for the first time, that perhaps the blood came from him, not her. She may have gotten some good licks in.... Anyway, would love to know how your duck did.
Thank you for any input at all!!!
