Duck won’t stop laying eggs.

ok, I take a medium sized soda bottle, cut it in 1/2. I drill some holes in the bottom of it for drainage and a couple around the top so I can actually wire it right to my fence. That way the grils can get to it when they need it. When it gets gross and dirty I just squirt the hose in it and let it drain all the dirt out. It's as simple as that!

Shall I give them it in a separate bowl or in their food bowl?

At separate bowl or other dispenser. A container mounted to the coop wall can be kept full, will not get dumped and can be built, DuckyDonna's Soda Bottle dispenser. Or purchased, Goat Mineral Feeders $5 at feed stores, has 2 sides. Keep Oyster Shell in half and Grit in the other...JJ

Best to offer grit separate from oyster shell. All the birds need grit, for digestion. Only the layers need oyster shell. They will take what they need, when they need it.

Yes they will put dirt in their water do you think you could get them some with their food?
