Duck won't eat? (Please help!)

Hi there,

My female Pekin duck, about 1 year old has been sick for the past week. The first sign was her pooping blood, and that caused enough alarm to take her to the vet. She was also acting strange and randomly freezing in place. So, at the vet they took x-rays and shots and concluded that she didn't eat something bad and that she didn't have worms. They gave her an anti-biotic shot and she started acting normal, except her poop was all water and she wasn't eating. We are currently force feeding her on the vets order, but we are afraid she won't be able to live off of it for much longer.

Please ANY ideas you have for what might be wrong with her and how we could get her to eat again would be greatly appreciated!

Has the stool been checked for parasites, for coccidiosis?

Anyways it could be related to what your feeding..?
Specify more on what the feed and living conditions are.....?

We've feed the same food for it's whole life, and also give constant treats. She won't eat the pellet normal food, but will sometimes eat a couple peas if we throw them out. She lives with another female and a male in a pretty spacious enclosure and has 24/7 access to an outside area.

She is supposed to be on adult duck food by now, her duckling food that she had in her early life isn't the right nutrition she needs.

Also i would like to specify that A,iga asked if any parasites were found worms are only a type of parasites there are more than just worms that could affect the duck.

She is on adult food, sorry for wrong wording.

Could you elaborate on the other kinds of parasites? The vet took a shot for "worms" in her words, would that have included other parasites?

Just to be clear: The vet gave us worm medication to give to her, along with an antibiotic shot. The blood in her stool has stopped, and she is acting normal, but won't eat.
