Duck Worming

Mandy J go here and ask about the Wazine and safe guard. I only use the safe Guard for 5 days and don't re worm in 10 so I am not sure what you should do..

I just posted a question on there for you about treating the pen after worming still waiting on an answer.

I am glad your seeing an improvement and she isn't limping Bumble foot isn't something to ignore. That is why I kept on at you about it.

Thanks! I won't ask the question twice. Let me know what you find out.

You need to ask about re worming and when you need to use the safe Guard. I didn't ask that one all I asked was about cleaning the pen after worming and she is answering now if you go to the thread.
Go to the thread and tell what you have wormed with and that you plan on using the safe Guard but need to know how soon after the wazine you can do it. And if you need to re worm and when. Lots of great information on there along with pics on how much paste[SG} to use according to weight of your ducks.

Next time you worm I'd just use the safe Guard and forget the wazine.

I asked for poop pictures because you posted this:

Right now I am seeing nothing in their actions that tells me they have worms. The little mallard may have quit laying due to the season and now she has quit limping. The other Pekin never did show any signs. I was asking what I look for for future reference. Sorry I confused you.

Since I am seeing nothing in their actions to indicate worms, should I just forget about worming them with Safeguard? I would hate to over medicate them.

Right now I have 3 VERY happy little ducks roaming around in the yard. They hated being penned up!

You might want to start having routine fecal floats done, especially if they continue to have loose stools.
