Duck yard- Cleaning the Grass?

Hey team,
This is my first post! So glad to have people to turn to about our ducks! We have seven Rouen ducks and are first time poultry owners.
Our duck yard is fenced in and is just grass around the Quacker Jack Box, their duck house.
My question is, do I need to clean the grass? They have two areas they prefer to hang in and the poop is pretty caked up at this point. Not sure what the best thing to do for them would be.

I would just spray it down with a hose.
