i was wondering how ducks are being introduced as adults? I have a lone male duck and would like to find him a buddy. It's my understanding that getting another male wouldn't be a good idea. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I lost his sister just the other day and am devastated as I love these guys so much and keep them as pets outside. How long do ducks normally live for? This little gal was young.

ducks live 10-20 years, and two males will do great without any girls to fight over. boys are usually healthier than girls too since they can’t get egg related issues

It depends on the ducks. Males can get along, but there's no guarantee. There's also no guarantee the male will be kind to a female. With that said, here are many more drakes out there looking for homes.
For intros, I'd set up a look no touch area where they can see each other and be near each other, but not be able to attack or harass each other. You can separate by a fence or use a kennel. I would just do it long enough to see how they react to each other. Then, once you let them hang out, really observe their behaviors and actions.
