I love, love, love my ducks, but am not a fan of stinky, wet messes. The idea of having a feeding and water coop in the duck run rattled around in my mind for a few days. I know we don't have the room outside, so why not build a duck cafe inside? I waited almost a week to post these photos because I wanted to make sure the idea was solid. The ducks love it, all the mess stays contained, and it is super easy to clean out and wipe down every day. We are in the middle of a heatwave in the NE, and it tickles me so, to open the poultry barn door and have no bad smells whatsoever. I designed it to be small enough so there isn't room for playing or sleeping. They seem to understand, and only go in for food and water. I couldn't be happier with this small but mighty project.

cute idea! the water dish isn’t deep enough though and will cause health issues, they need a bowl big enough to dunk their entire head and eyes 24/7
