ducking not eating

I have nine ducking but their mum flew off and has not come back now my ducking won't eat so how can i make eat or will they start eating my themselves

They may not know quite what to eat, so if you have starter crumbles, add some water to that, make it soft, be sure they have fresh water with food or they could choke.

What were you feeding their mom?

Giving her the starter crumbs so she could show them how to eat but my next door dog got out and scared her off

But she also have layers pellet that the ducking could not get them

So, try wetting the starter crumbs and offering that with water. You may want to make it a little runny at first. You will probably need to remove the wet food after 8 hours or so, to prevent mold. It may not mold in 8 hours, but with ducklings I like to be very cautious.

Ok thank you i put a dish of water and place some start crumbs in their and they are eating a little bit so that a good start
