So here is what we have built for our two Pekins, Lady Penelope Peep and Lady Regina Quackenbush. It came out pretty goood. The screened in “veranda” detaches for once they are big/old enough to mingle with the chickens. The whole thing is in our poultry pen which is about 25 feet on a side and surrounded by electric fence.
