Duckings arrived in terrible shape!

Noon update: She continues to take sips as before. I have to put her beak in the water to get any reaction. But she lifts her head to swallow. As much as I try she’s not drinking anywhere near the amount the others drink. She did eat 5 bites of scrambled egg over the morning from my hand. Then the others ate the rest off her beak. I’m not sure if they bother her or if she needs them nearby.

I noticed her standing up on her own so I offered everything I had been trying and she ate duck mush and egg yolk. Then took plenty of water on her own and shook her head like the others. I saw her poop and then she even groomed a bit before falling asleep. She’s far from 100% but maybe getting stronger?!

Eating and pooping are good signs. I got my ducks and chicks from 2 different people in Craigslist. After TSC sent me a 3 legged guinea I decided I didn't want to go that route again.
I've got 19 total so I won't be getting anymore but seeing where they come from makes me feel a lot better.
Crossing my fingers for you and your baby.

How's the little one doing today?
I just came on to update. She is doing really good!! She’s up at the feeder a lot, eats and drinks on her own, cleans herself, comes for treats. (The others are quicker so I give her treats separately.) But I think she made it! Thank you BYC, the suggestions of water every 20 minutes and egg yolk are what saved her, also my sleepless night. Here’s a picture of our three. She’s the brown one. Behind her are a pekin and a fawn and white runner.:love
