They come waddling home around 6PM. Quacking at the back fence wanting to be fed.
They are a bit of a neighborhood fixture, so everyone loves the ducks!

Do you have any problems getting them to go in the house at night? I can't get our ducks to go inside their house. It's like round up at the ok coral, they refuse to go inside.

I wish they were litter box trained!! The material this is made of is stain resistant so when they make a mess on the sides I just take it outside and spray it off. The stains come right off! Ollie the Pekin and Pepper is a Khaki Campbell.

I love the names, Ollie and Pepper. I wish I could litter box train a duck I would love to have a house duck.

They free range all day in the pond, and at night, they come home wanting a little something before they get tucked in for then night. We used to herd them back and then put a food dish in their coop to entice them. After a week or so, they just come home on their own and quack at the back gate wanting to be put to bed.

Thats great that they come back on their own. We have tried to entice our ducks to go in their house but they refuse. Even in the winter we put food and water and a little heater and they prefer staying outside. We live in the city and have a fenced in yard and two dogs that patrol the yard but still yet I would prefer them to go inside especially at night.
