Hi HarringtonHomest! Darkwing does appear to be a Runner - and for some reason they tend to have these seizures or 'fits' more often than other breeds (from what I've read on BYC). You're doing all the right things so hopefully Darkwing will grow out of it just fine.

Ooo, if she turns out to be a dapple ducky like MissLydia thought, she will be beauuuuutiful.... And of course my first ever duck is a fit-duck. But, I do love her so.

Then, there's this squish that is apparently getting pecked by the other chicks, so he's watching carpenter videos with me. He (?) may be a new member of the superhero squad if they don't stop.

Aww poor baby I hate it when one gets bullied. Maybe split your brooder and try a few at a time with squish that way he is still part of the flock but can’t be bullied

The intention was to put random chicks in with the ducks so they could be a cohesive flock, but then Darkwing threw a wrench in that plan. I guess no that we figure she'll grow out of it, we'll go back to that plan.
