Duckling deaths - odd

Honestly I don't wasn't to spend money like that... I have found that breeders won't sell under 1 week olds because some are not strong enough from the start.
Fair enough. Keep a close eye on them and make sure the are getting a quality starter with the correct amount of vitamins, minerals, and amino acids that ducklings need.

This is a good idea if available, but I don't know how long it takes to get results. Hopefully before you lose any more.
Most labs will have a preliminary cause of death the day they receive the bird. Some states do them for free, other states, like Maine and California charge ~$20.

Yea. That's what TSC had. It was a box of 2 bulbs

Thoes are fine I have always used them producers pride brand? That's what mine has and one other brand with all the chicken stuff. But I always grab the producers pride brand. I had a few duckling die within a day, the cause was the water dish wasn't deep enough for them to get enough water to help with eating, they faded out quickly.

How shallow was your dish?
