I'm so glad.... It's the first step towards eating... I've cared for several birds with much worse injuries (one hen had her side ripped off by a dog, she made it,) and that's what they were like day 6. She's more "on track" now.
The triple antibiotic had set like glue and refused to come off.

I am working on getting her thigh wound cleaned and uncovered.... Ducks are so fluffy that it's slow going....

Good for you. They really are fluffy , Maybe some more soaking in a nice warm tub will help get that triple loose.

She still won't eat... It's like she's forgotten HOW to eat? She picks it up but it squirts out of her bill.

What's her weight this morning? Those green poops of her could be what I call "starvation poops".

No weight loss is good.

Sometimes you can smell nfection, which is why I suggested that, but I'm gonna guess that you already knew that.
