I'm going to try and feel Chrissy's leg again now that I know where the more major leg bones are connected. I hate poking and prodding her leg as it is clearly painful to her, but what's gotta be done has to be done.

Nope, there is no way that isn't broken..... I can feel a separation where the other side is smooth, right down the tibia....

It's bad.

Really bad.

I'm still going to try and splint it.

Can't get the split to stay up against the break. It's in a bad spot.

Duck tape it. Duck tape could replace the splint completely if you hang her in a splint...

BTW You might be a tad better person than me, I can't see my doing this for any of my birds..Good luck

I got a splint on her. Looks horrible, but it stays on.

I'm trying to put her in a sling, but she panics and won't let me put her feet in the holes.... I need 5 extra arms, lol.... Letting her calm down before I try again.

what if you lay her on her back and put it on her then hang the sling up?
