I tried hatching later in the year last hatching season.... Big mistake.... Nearly lost some pullets to frostbite that hatched end of August. Mid-July is now my cutoff date.

I ended up with a whole nother flock in my house all winter, because of course I had to do a NYD HAL too to add to the sick bay. Glutton for punishment... That's moi.
