Duckling Diaries: the Life and Times of a Welshie Trio

Sorry to hear that. . I don't know about chickens I don't have any. but it will depend on the size of your ducks and wether or not They free range. Ducks will eat a lot of bugs worms and greens if they have access and won't eat as much feed if they are able to fill up on other stuff. I've also heard that chicken scratch isn't good for ducks but I know a lot of people keep chickens and ducks together so. . . I don't know how everyone handles the feeding situation there.
Mine have been raised together from the start. Getting ready to separate them. Looking for ideas how to build nesting boxes for my ducks.

What size are the totes. And how many for six ducks.
I would say probably get as many totes as you have females. . size I'm not sure what size that is but if you look at Wal-Mart or dollar General you should be able to pick the size that suits your duck. I have no idea how well it works. . just like the idea. Mine are call ducks and they are tiny so I'm planning to use buckets as my nesting boxes.
@BantyChooks what do you suggest? You've had ducks longer than me.

You should tell Jim&Dee how you dux people admire and worship me as you try to emulate me... Also inform them about how many dux I have reformed.....keeping them out of prison......:celebrate:drool:celebrate:th:th:plbb
Don't listen to the dux hater. . he will brain wash you with brain bleach until you don't like dux any more!
