i have a bear that likes to rip open my coop and eat the inhabitants, so they live in my barn now for the most part, last week i put some more chickens in the coop
and i have done some bear prevention, solar xmas lights and wolf scent around the property, so far so good but

one of my neighbor tells me everyday about the bears in her yard, all 3 of them, everyday

so i have a bear lol, it eats well, it has eaten 7 of my birds this year, and 3 ducks

sorry to hear about your bear problem a course of electric fence should keep them and other predictors out of your coop

I have a question for the Welshi lovers, I'm one as well lol I have two that I hatched there adopt 3 to 4 weeks old the large one is starting to get rusty looking on his chest so in hoping it's a drake (boy) and the other one is still just a soft greyish fuzzy duck with a dark bill possibly a hen

So have I guessed correctly as to what they are I will post pics as soon as I get a chance

thank you I'll give them a listen but as there with a group of other ducklings a Swedish black two Pekins a Cayuga and a saxony/Rouen I'll have to separate them lol

Which one? Nah. Weather is okay at the moment. We're all safe!
