i did once but didnt hang around to see if they ate them, and i did the dried worms not the live bugsOh, then I don't know why they don't like peas.Have you tried giving them mealworms? I think some people give them that, although I never tried it personally.
Watermelon! I just gave my ducks a piece and they went wild! At least once they got over their uncertainty of "what is THAT stuff"! LOL They loved watermelon!
Mine loved peas from the beginning. Still LOVE them!

I gave them pieces but they weren't interested, then I just gave them about a quarter of a watermelon, still on the rine. They jumped in and ate all the red (meat) of the watermelon. Now when they see me with a watermelon, they go bananas! Try it, they are a hoot. I didn't think they would eat ALL of the red, but they only left a thin sliver of the white portion.

Lol I assume my chickens like it because it looks like worms, they fight over worms my daughter digs up for them lolOur duckBURDZ really seem to enjoy spaghetti as well.
