Duckling Diaries: the Life and Times of a Welshie Trio

Thank you all... I quite appreciate it. Still feels like a bad dream that'll go away.

I used to have a little rat terrier She was a house dog and was with me for 15 years. She's been gone for almost three years now and I still sometimes expect to hear her bark when I open the door or I think to myself I need to get home and let daisy out! And then I feel dumb.

:hugs

I still nearly call the ducks over for water before closing the chickens up, before remembering there aren't any ducks to call over.

This morning I walked down and automatically shifted my body language to side toward Chrissy's crate... If I didn't do that, she would get nervous and try and stand up... Took me a minute before I remembered the crate was empty and that's why there wasn't any quacking.
