Duckling Diaries: the Life and Times of a Welshie Trio

My grandmother was killed in a car accident 30 years ago at 83. My one aunt cleaned out the house of all antiques and valuables when the other aunts and uncles were at the hospital. Grandma was not even cold yet when the stuff disappeared... Oh my one cousin helped her.........

Now and then I see the stuff and get instantly angry.. I have nothing to remember them by.

Yep. Every family's got at least 1 or 2 of those nasty little vultures (there are a lot of them in my extended family.)

That's terrible. Sounds like my two aunts on my dad's side. They didn't even show up to be there for my grandpa when grandma was dying. I was there with my dad for hours watching the poor old man suffer. He held her hand right up to the end and when it happened I had to be the one to explain she was gone. He couldn't quite make himself believe it. But let me tell you those citiot aunts of mine were sure here the next day to collect my grandma's jewelry!

That is so sad & just infuriating!!!

View attachment 1051627 I don't care about jewelry. This is what I wanted! My momma took it for me before the sale happened. This is the chair I stood on and learned from my grandma how to make pie and cookies and work up garden vegetables! And my daughter after me. Heck Of a lot more valuable to me than jewelry!

We had one of those! Ours was dark grey & was covered in many years of paint splatters. We had your rusty, old, red trike too. It looked exactly like yours & was impossible to peddle.

I can't find Fake Eileen's picture I wanted to see...
